Hotel Runavík
Sea-farers Home, which opened in 1951, is a three star hotel located
in the heart of city in Runavik, and it is the only Hotel in the
area. Runavik is the third biggest town on the Faroe Islands.
The hotel is in a great
location, both locally as well as centrally in the Faroe Islands
- it is only one hour drive from the capital Torshavn, and one
hour drive from the Airport in Vagar. It is only half an hour
to Klaksvik which is the next biggest town in Faroes
The hotel has facilities for conferences, seminars or other such
gatherings. The conference rooms are of various sizes and can
be set up to accomodate desired requirements. Modern equipment
is available, such as wireless internet connection, Over-head,
a projector, white-board, etc.
All the rooms are large, well-lighted and up to the standard required
of modern hotels. All rooms are non-smoking.
