Rent a car in the Faroe Islands

The cars can be rented from the airport in Vagar of from the bus terminal in Torshavn, but if guests want the car delivered at the hotel or at other places that's also possible.

Most people want the car delivered in Tórshavn or at Vágar airport. At the airport the car renting service can deliver cars 24 hours a day. This service started recently as flights to the Faroe Islands sometimes are delayed due to different reasons. The customers who have reserved a car at the airport therefor need not to worry as the car can be picked up as soon as they get out of the plane. There are two subtunnels in the Faroe Islands, the Vágatunnel and the Norðoyatunnel. The Vágatunnel links Vágoy with Streymoy whilst the Norðoyatunnel links Eysturoy with Borðoy. There’s a charge of kr.130,- for driving through these tunnels.
